Notes about BiFold Doors
In California, the typical framed Bi-Fold Shower Door is illegal because people could get trapped inside the shower.
BiFolds using Zurich hinges can be designed to eliminate that possibility and so these BiFolds are not illegal.

Zurich Hinges are rated for more weight and width of door than most other hinges.
2 - Hinges hold 100lbs and 36" wide glass
3 - Hinges hold 150 lb. and 40" wide glass.
The width is the total of the panels supported by the first hinge.
So if you had a 13" Fixed First panel and three hinges panels after that. They could all be stored next to the
13" panel and when extended would cover an opening of 52".

When we use our Top Hung Slider in combination with Zurich Hinges, there is basically no size limit.
The U-Shaped Patch fitting Roller Assembly holds 165 lbs each, which is like a 3/8" panel 30" x 13 ft.
